Owl Cottage is a farm cottage as big as a house and is self catering.  The cottage is set away from the main farm house, in a private garden on Houdconstant Farm.  Rooms are big with high ceilings.
Sleeps 6 in 3 separate bedrooms: two with single beds sharing a bathroom and one with a double bed en-suite.
Bedding is included.
Furnishings are minimalistic.  Plenty of space for paragliding, hang gliding and PPG equipment.
Kitchen is typically big and fully equipped with microwave, fridge and stove, crockery and cutlery. 

Paraglider, Hang Glider and Powered Paraglider flying sites near by.

The farm is great for mountain biking and there is a large dam to swim in. The dam also has bass and the rare Barbus Andrewii (White Fish) and you can test your flyfishing skills. There is a large variety of  birds and Houdconstant is perfect for birdwatchers.

Owl Cottage is a children's paradise and guests of Owl Cottage are welcome to roam the farm and enjoy the atmosphere.  At the moment, October, the scent from blossoms of the orchards is pure heaven. Fan and Philippa farm Pomegranates, oranges, lemons, wine grapes, herbs, sheep and cattle.

Further afield, there are wonderful nature walks at Waterval, on top of the mountain in the Groot Winterhoek, and in the valley behind Dasklip at Beaverlac.

Dasklip , on top of the Pass, approximately a 20km drive.
Pampoenfontein 2kms past Dasklip Pass, around the back and south, total about 22kms drive.
Porterville Airstrip, approximately 5kms away.
Koringberg across the valley between Picketburg and Moorreesburg, about 40km.

Driving into town on the R44 from the north, turn left at Koppikofi Restaurant and drive towards the mountains.  Pass the school on your left, go over a bridge and you will see a white block with Houtconstant written on it.  Take the right fork and drive until you see the large sprawling main house and announce yourselves to the farmers, Fan and Philippa.
