The All Africa starts on Sunday 16th December at Dasklip, so we hope to have some visiting pilots joining our End of Year Function. Pilots do however need to book and pay by 7 December to secure their space at the event.
The annual club prize giving will be held at the End of Year Function and there will also be a prize for first person to fly (or walk) from Koringberg to Dunns Castle that weekend.
Accommodation is also available at Dunns Castle at R120 per person sharing (special discount price for this weekend only). For more details visit their website on www.dunnscastle.co.za. Monday is a public holiday so you have a day to recover or just go and fly! Committee Members, Ian and Danjo have checked out the venue and proclaimed it to be a great. Accommodation - self catering R120 per person sharing Meal - R75 per person FLYING:- The All Africa starts on Sunday the 16th at Dasklip Pass. ... Rob Manzoni has said that we may fly from Dasklip for NO site fee during the All Africa before the window opens. YAY wind techies!!! We can also fly from Koringberg, Piketberg, Dasklip and Pampoenfontein or even winch at Piketberg. It will be great though if we could support the All Africa with our presence as some of our members will be participating (Craig and Earl, I think).
