Dutton Dames

Pete's right hand man.   Instructor Dutton provides the day to day contact with Students, assisting with
pull ups, marking of exams, templates kites and everything else that needs to be sewn.

When it comes to overseeing repairs, Dutton and Jackson are South Africa's super qualified paraglider repairmen capable of 'impossible' repairs and incredibly neat work.

Jackson Dlaza

For the past 12 years, Jackson has taken care of:
serving all gliders, repairs all rigging to both kites and gliders
and makes up the flying lines and cutting of the kites manufactured at Wallendair.

This quiet, capable and unassuming man can fix just about anything and when a glider is really trashed, be it in the Cape, KwaZulu Natal or Gauteng, the Jackson-Dutton Team are the people who put it all back together again.

Joyce Magaqana

The the lady who repairs my flightsuit, backpack and harness zips.
Joyce also repairs gliders and kites, sewing lines and servicing of gliders.
Her work is a joy to my heart :-) and she is super fast!

Steven Leroux

Graphic designer, design development and digital printing.
Steve is the signage man who logo's gliders, vehicles and signboards.

He has been working with Pete for 7 years.
If you have ever tried applying signage to a glider you know what a sometimes tedious and
time consuming job he and Dutton have!

Equipment

Pete is the only South African paragliding dealer who regularly promotes events like the Swing Challenge, whereby pilots can test fly a range of Swing equipment.

His energy in the promotion of paragliding through events such as this and the recent Anglorand Swing World Record attempt is astounding and to the benefit of the greater paragliding community, bringing favourable publicity to our sport. 
He is also one of the few dealers able to provide demo wings for pilots to test fly all around the country.

I have supported Flytec products since my student days.  From the 30m drop proof, immensly stable 4005 (don't test it, it may only have worked for me in Bulwer where the grass was long and forgiving:-) to my latest 5020 vario / GPS combination.

I chose the Flytec 5020 for its better programming with route settings when flying cats cradle tasks, its cylinder (you-have-a-breadcrumb-in-the-cylinder-BEEP-now-turn-to-the-next-waypoint-and-go-go-go!) to the fact that this combination allows me to fly with one less instrument and less weight.  Now they have a whole new range - lighter, smarter..and ... sexy?
