In De Aar, the XC Open World Series organisers appointed Flygirl Official Reporter for the XC Open World Series Media Team.

I get to do what I am passionate about - follow the XC Open World Series around the world reporting on the flying, the people competing and their experiences from the novice to intermediate pilot, to skygod.

With my  camera, I photograph events as they unfold and contribute to updating the official XC Open World Series website during competitions.

In 2009, I will be participating in and reporting on events in Australia, Bulgaria and Spain.

Being part of something I truly believe in, being invited to contribute in a way that comes naturally to me, is a gift.  I get to travel, meet wonderful like minded people, experience alternate ways of life, different cultures.. and fly in the best cross country sites in the world.
