| Flygirl's Event Destinations for 2009 | I am busy plotting 'Waypoints' for 2009. There are several events I plan to take part in this coming year. Getting to them will be part of the adventure. In October I was faced with the Question: If I have only one year left to live, what would I do with that year? And why am I not doing it now? Turns out I am healthy, but the scare did leave me thinking...Why am I not doing what I want to do now? What if there is no 'next year'? |  | | | Those who follow Flygirl's travels will know that the wheels pretty much fell off in May 2009 with regards to planning anything. I had intended to follow the XC Open World Series as Official Media Reporter for 2009, but financially could not make it happen. So I stayed here in Australia and hitch hiked around this continent for 9 months. It was the best thing that could have happened to me. I met the most amazing people, learned new ways of living and settled down emotionally. And my flying has improved..... :-) |
