My thanks to Ant Allen of Aerial Perspective for this aerial photo of winter in Hout Bay. This is an overhead shot of the 12 Apostles my paragliding friends and I fly in the winter months.  To the far right is an exclusive residential area called Llandudno where I  lived for 11 years before becoming a full time hitch hiker and traveller. How life changes :-)

The little cone shaped hill above the houses is or was my back yard flying site called Little Lions Head.  This is where the winter Apostle Riders launch, cross onto the Apostles and fly down to the Table Mountain cable car, acro over to Lions Head and land at La Med restaurant for sundowners and pizza.

The strip of sand past Llanduno is where the hang gliders used to train in the early years, throwing themselves off the sand dunes and landing to the right on a beautiful little nudist beach called Sandy Bay.

At the end of the Hout Bay valley is a bay with Chapmans Peak on the left and Harbour Heights on the right, below that last cone shaped hill called the Sentinal.  On the other side of the Sentinal is Dungeons - where the Red Bull Big Wave competition is held.

It is in Harbour Heights where I have my plot of vacant land for sale.  This was where I was going to grow old, sitting on my rocking chair watching the fishing boats come in and radio down to James for a piece of fresh tuna.

Times change.  I do not look to my old age.  I live now.
