My thanks to Ion Ghilescue for taking my glider and camping equipment from Manilla to Bright for me.  This gives me a few more weeks of Internet laptop activity and that means reporting back on those two competitions and uploading photos before I head off into the desert :-)

At over 4kg my faithful old Toshiba Satellite Pro is too heavy for me to hitchhike with and free internet wireless access infrequent and pay internet cafes expensive in the Outback.  Last year I found Internet Cafe computers sometimes unsafe for FLYGIRL updates, although I do use them for email access and uploads to other secure sites like PG Forum and XContest.  I just don't want to risk FLYGIRL.

XContest - This website I use as a measuring stick alongside other like minded, long distance female pilots around the world.  In February I am tentativly in 3rd place in the world, but my postition can change with a single flight from the other women.  All sights are on the female World Record holder Kamira Pereira from Brazil who is in 1st Place.
